To celebrate CUHK’s 50th anniversary, Morningside College held a photography competition this April. Undergraduate students from all over CUHK submitted nearly 150 pieces of original creative photography in order to compete in three categories: “50/50,” “Celebrate,” and “Hidden.” First prize in each category was an iPad mini. The winners, as chosen by a panel of judges including professional artistic photographer Simon Wan Chi-chung, were: Mookie Chau (S.H. Ho), Line van den Berg (Morningside), Tse Miu Tsz (United), Matthew Tang (Morningside), Rene Lam (Morningside), Yoland Hsia (S.H. Ho), Annie Yu (Morningside), and Anthony Poon (Morningside). The competition was also held in coordination with James College, University of York, which is also celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.
